چکیده
Aim: To determine the importance of intermittent cardiotocographic monitoring during misoprostol-assisted induction labour in pregnancies lasting weeks or more. Methods: This descriptive study was carried out Obstetrics and Gynecology department Combined Military Hospital, Kharian Cantt for duration from January 2022 to August among 130 primigravida patients underwent CTG before receiving transvaginal dose misoprostol. Neonatal admissions, mode delivery, Apgar score, indications were variables examined. Results: Forty-two (70%) C-section had reassuring significantly low scores at 1 minute. Seven (8.5%) with thick meconium non-reassuring CTG. Twelve neonates (9.2%) total required resuscitation, 9 (75%) whom CTGs while 3(25%) CTGs. The overall admission rate NICU 10%, 38.5% that resuscitation mortality nil time. Conclusions: Patients who their induced misoprostol 50% cases stained liquor. Therefore, we can lower neonatal morbidity by early foetal impairment detection. Keywords: cardiotocography, induction, score caesarean section
